SELAMAT PULANG WARGA KOTA

And I hope that you had a great Hari Raya break and that you all feel recharged. Whether you went Balik Kampung or just stayed in "trafficless" KL, I am sure all of of us had some times to take advantage of the break and the time to tink about life.

My self and my hubby did our own balik Kampung which I headed to Port Dickson and Cet Det to Jelebu. My hubby were missing his mom and relatives and I thought it was a great opportunity to take a break after almost a year away from home. During one of my conversations with my youngest sister, Intan, we were discussing the joy of having that "old feling of home", that familiar aroma of home cooked meals such as rendang and kuah kacang, the walls that saw you grow up, the dining area which was witness the numerous family discussions, celebrations and get togethers. Likewise this is a most opportune time to check on old friends dan family members you haven't seen in a while. This is a time when we are again in tune with our humanity, someting that is many times taken for granted as we are lost in the daily grind (searching tone of money!!) of our normal live.

It was quite a joy for me to visit my late parents grave with siblings. For my end I was able to connect with my second brother who i can't communite for ages. It was quite a joy for me to see my little brother - Ahmad who finaly declare the end of our cold war. This visit, Ahmad for the first time spent a lot of time chat with me on the morning of hari raya, it was the birth of a new relationship.

All these little things make life great.

Selamat hari Raya to very one !!!.
