Unlike Tengku Ali of Terengganu and Tengku Ibrahim Petra of Kelantan who resort to legal proceeding to reclaim back their throne, Tuanku Muhriz remains silence and he did not make any fuss about this in the media and just pray that his time will come eventually.
When the annoucement of his proclaimation as the 11th Yam Tuan Besar Negeri Sembilan was read, loud cheer and followed by Takbir "Allah Akbar", filled the Balairong Seri.
Allegedly some of Tuanku Jaafar family members, walked out from the Balairong Seri, as a sign of protest.
Now his prayer was answered, only time will tell, whether Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir can bring back the respectability towards the Royal Household of Negeri Sembilan."

Sesuatu yang telah lama saya tunggu ... saya terus membuat sembayang 2 rakaat apabila Tengku Mukriz diistiyarkan menjadi Yam Tuan Besar Negeri Sembilanyang ke 11. Setelah mangkatnyer Tengku Jafaar. Beliau lah paling berhak dan terpaksa menunggu selama 40 tahun.
Nampak Daulat nyer = 40 tahun menunggu untuk ditabalkan? = umur nabi muhammad diangkat menjadi Nabi & Rasul. dan beliau dilantik pada 1 Muharram ... menandakan akan berlaku hijrah yang besar di dalam alam melayu . Ya panji panji hitam sudah nampak terkibaran...
Cerita beliau sungguh mengharukan ... dan cara beliau menaiki taktha begitu unik sekali ... syukur kepada Allah .. yang benar dan berhak telah kurniakan ... disinilah kesabaran menjadi tiang segalanya.
semoga negeri minang akan selebar alammenjadi lebih makmur dibawah kepimpianan yang berhak ...
